science for the kids: Veggie Stamps

Veggie Stamps

Veggie stamps are  very cool. You can use them to make your own unique cards and wrapping paper to give to friends and family.

You need:

Various types of vegetables (carrots, potatoes, beans, ladies fingers, beet root, tomatoes (non-seed), Zucchini, Pepper) cut out in cross sections

paper or card

Acrylic or poster paints

A brush

How to make Veggie stamps:

Get cross sectioned vegetables and apply  paint with the brush to the cut  inside part.

Now take the paper or card and stamp on it.

You could create many patterns this way using different colors and different vegetables.

Happy Stamping!
