A Colorful Mix
Mix paints to create new colors
You need:
- acrylic paints especially primary colors blue, red and yellow
- white card, cartidge paper or reuse white envelopes for painting on
- pen or pencil and ruler
- brushes
- container of water for keeping brushes clean
- clean cloth for patting brushes dry
- recycled plastic lids for paint palettes
- newspaper for covering work surface
Getting started:
Put a small amount of blue, red and yellow paint on separate plastic lids
If you are working on a single piece of paper or card you might like to separate your combinations by ruling lines or creating a grid of nine boxes
Next step - combinations:
Blue + red makes violet
Red + yellow makes orange
Yellow + blue makes green
Pick up your brush, You are ready to start mixing colors.
